Chinmaya Mission Emblem

This logo of Chinmaya Sewa Trust Rewa was conceptualised by HIS HOLINESS PUJYA SWAMI PRASHANTANANDAJI SARASWATI, with ‘OM’ as the central figure, reflecting the very core of Sanatan Dharma.

Designed in a harmonious blend of saffron and deep red, it carries a profound spiritual meaning:

  • Saffron symbolizes purity, sacrifice, and divine illumination — the outer discipline of a seeker.
  • Deep red signifies inner energy, devotion, and vibrant life-force — the warmth of one’s spiritual journey.

The Central Symbol: OM

At the core of this design is OM, the most sacred syllable in Sanatan Dharma. OM is the primordial sound — the vibration from which the entire universe emerged. It represents:

  • AUM (अ–उ–म): the cycle of creation, preservation, and dissolution
  • The union of body, mind, and spirit
  • The ultimate reality (Brahman) and the seeker’s path toward it

By placing OM at the centre, Pujya Swami Prashantananda Ji symbolically reminds us that all spiritual practices, disciplines, and life’s movements find their source and culmination in this eternal sound.

Thus, the merging of these colors around OM beautifully conveys that when outer purity and inner strength harmonize, the seeker becomes attuned to the universal vibration — OM — and moves toward spiritual awakening.
